The Carrizozo Woman’s Club held their April meeting on 10 April 2025 Here is a brief rundown of what happened at the meeting... Speakers: Fran and Sandy – Carrizozo Open Bowls Event & Nourishing Nation Fran: Introduced of Sandy of Nourishing Nation. Big fundraiser – Empty Bowls: Clay artists create bowls, tickets sold ($30 each), ticket gets you into event, everyone picks a bowl that is wrapped up for transit; you then get a disposable bowl to get some soup or chili. Local restaurants are donating all of the food. Heart of the Raven is the host studio – Judy P has 3 kilns; New Mexico Clay sent down 200 pounds of clay. Long list of contributing artists and other volunteers are creating 200 bowls. Saturday 3 May Baptist Church Main Hall from 11-2. Buy tickets in advance.
